I like: fallen bicycles
There is something strangely human about a fallen bicycle. It feels like evidence that someone was here just a moment ago. Maybe the owner was careless with the stand. Maybe someone brushed past it. You never really know, and I like that. It leaves just enough room for your imagination to fill in the rest.
Also, the fact that you commute by bicycle already makes me interested in you. And a bicycle is such a good extension of a person: the stickers, the basket, the rust pattern, a bell that's clearly never used. I end up building a whole caricature of the owner from these clues, a person I'll never meet, assembled entirely out of the choices they made on their bike.
